Kitty Rae, known as the Godmother of block print, founded the printing house we work with back in the 1960s.
Many of today’s printers trained under her and continue to work with us, keeping her craft and care alive.

OUR FOUNDER
Sarah Zellweger
Our founder Sarah has been working closely with the family of famed block print pioneer, Kitty Rae, since 2015.
Alongside the devoted team of artisans, they strive to push hand block printing forward, refining heritage blocks and giving them new life for a contemporary audience.
Sarah lives between Lisbon, Jaipur and Southern Maine with her husband and two children.
