Mount Desert Island, Maine is the ultimate destination to completely disconnect, the beauty and tranquility is overwhelming. We spent a few days camping and hiking in Acadia National Park and then rented a small lobsterman's cottage on a tiny, undeveloped island called Isleford (also known as Little Cranberry Island).
What to do: Exploring the island by bike- the rocky beaches, dramatic views of the coastline adorned with massive pine trees, the incredible sunsets on the dock.
What to bring: bugspray, some SZ Blockprints x Jcrew swimsuits, and an old stack of New Yorkers to catch up on.
Shop our swimsuits here.
What to eat: Everything at the Isleford dock restaurant and don't miss the dark and stormies.
